You are morally obligated to let me know of any products you produce with this framework (regardless of whether they are released to the public or not). Please send me the name of your CGI, a short description and an access url (or Info-Mac location). Let me know if it's okay to add a link for your CGIs based on this framework to the framework's home page. (Free advertising for you!)
Please let me know of any enhancements (read: bug fixes) you make to this code so that I can share them with everyone else. Please note that if you send me code for inclusion in the framework, you will be granting me license to include it without any financial obligation to you. You will also be granting a permanent, irrevocable license for future use of the submitted code. (This just means you don't get money - just fame - and you can't change your mind later insisting that I remove the code you've donated.)
I would also like a free copy of (or big discount on) anything you produce with my code, please; but you don't have to if you don't want to.
When you have to send me money
[The official legal stuff is described in the "LICENSE AND LIMITED WARRANTY AGREEMENT" (which should be included with this package).]
Basically, this source may be freely used for applications that are free. If you charge for the use of software derived from this source code, you must pay a percentage of the revenue to Grant Neufeld. If your total revenue is less than US$400 (or equivalent in other currencies) you don't have to pay anything (but you can if you want to!). If your total (gross - before costs and deductions) revenue is US$400 (or equivalent in other currencies) or over, you must pay ten percent (10%) of total revenue to Grant Neufeld, unless an alternative licensing agreement has been arranged with Grant Neufeld. If you would like to arrange some other licensing agreement, please don't hesitate to contact Grant Neufeld at one of the email addresses listed below.
Custom or One-Shot Applications
Some people are using the framework for one-shot custom applications for themselves and clients. The following applies if you are producing an application for a particular client, with only one or a small number of copies of that application to be put into use. If you are selling the same application to multiple clients, then this payment section does not apply and you should refer to the standard fees detailed in the section above.
If you use the framework to produce a custom application for a specific (one-shot or limited) commercial or otherwise profitable use, there is a fee of US$30 (or equivelant in other currencies) for the first copy of the software put in use, and US$15 for additional copies. If the custom software is then resold, you will owe me 10% of gross revenue from sales of the software. This is in addition to the one-shot fee.
As with other fees, other arrangements can be negotiated.
Fee Payment Methods
You may pay in US or Canadian dollars (cash, money order or cheque only) directly to me at:

Include your name, address, and email. Please also tell me what you used/are using the framework for. Please add an additional dollar if you want a receipt. Canadians contact me about discounts available if paying in Canadian dollars.
Using the Register Program to Pay
For your convenience, payments may be made through Kagi Shareware - which accepts credit cards, cheques, first virtual, etc. To pay through Kagi, use the specially configured "Register" application. If you are missing the application, it is available for download at:
When paying for the framework, calculate your total amount owing, put one item ($40 from your total) into the "Single User" box, and put the rest into the bonus. (you can also put more than one in the "Single User" box, just make sure the overall total of that with the 'bonus' amount comes to the total amount you intend to pay.)
Contact Grant Neufeld if you have any questions about any of this:
